DDD Waiver Programs
Supports and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are funded through two Medicaid programs through The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). The Supports Program and The Community Care Program are available to adults 21 and over who qualify through the process known as the New Jersey Comprehensive Assessment Tool (NJCAT). Three areas are assessed, self-care, behavioral and medical. One of the two waiver programs will then be assigned to the person to fund their supports and services.
