Futures Planning
Planning for the future for a family member or loved one with an intellectual and/or developmental disability can begin as early as birth but it’s never too late. Professional guidance enables families to organize all information in one place but there are questions to consider as you begin, such as family medical history, education plans, living arrangements, special needs trusts, guardianship or supported decision making to name a few. When you plan for your loved one’s future – in a person-centered way - you enable them to live a successful community life with the ability to make changes when needed.
